Your source for Eritrean sports
Forget the 35-year-old Zlatan moving to Manchester United. Inter’s director of sport Piero Ausilio has been chasing the new one for months: Alexander Isak, a 16-year-old Swedish national of Eritrean origin.
Almost 6 ft 4, the youngster has already netted three goals in ten Swedish league games with AIK Solna, and is considered to be the successor of Zlatan himself.
Isak is known for his dribbling skills despite his size and for his instincts in front of goal. He has already scored six times in 19 games with Sweden’s under 17 side.
Leicester City is also fascinated by Isak, who has shined in the Under-17 European qualification against teams like Wales, Portugal and Croatia. He’s worth €5 million, and his deal with AIK Solna runs until 2018.
